Learning for Sustainability aims to help people, schools and communities to develop the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes they need to pursue environmental stewardship, social justice, democracy, and economic security as complementary goals – now and in the future.

Learning for Sustainability is a lifelong process or journey. Each school’s journey will be unique, reflecting the character of the local community – its environment, social setting, economic health, decision-making structures, and links to the wider (and global) community.

WWF’s work with schools seeks to offer a range of entry points, while supporting innovation and teacher-led development of good practice.
